Afton State Park is an oasis for outdoor adventurers of all kinds, just 20 minutes from Saint Paul. There is also a large forest and prairie area, criss-crossed by winding paths and deep sandstone gorges, making it one of the state's most popular hiking and biking trails. The park has a variety of different species of trees, shrubs, grasses and other plants, creating a unique habitat for a variety of species.
The minnow crawlies, sold at Leafy's in Afton State Park, sit right on the river, protected by a thick canopy of trees, grasses, shrubs and other plants.
