I'm getting sick of Cottage Grove, MN since I have lived her all of my life. I'm usually here for taking the many different tests that this site has to offer (this used to be thespark.com then they changed it). I think the whole dating element of OkCupid is rather interesting, but I'm not here to meet people as much as I'm here to waste time.

My parents always told me that I was "born" a musician. So for much of my, life I was taking piano lessons at the Walker West Music Academy in St. Paul, MN and I was NOT able to stop taking them until I turned 18 >:( Dont get me wrong..there were things I liked about the music that I played, and I DO appreciate the opportunities that I had but I could not get myself to practice cuz I just didn't have the proper motivation. Also, there were too many "recitals".

Also, I played alto saxophone since I was 11 years old and I participated in the Walker West Youth jazz band since I was about 12. I also played in the elementary, junior high and high schoolband. I was never a popular cat in highschool, but the blue alto saxophone I played since I got in on February 9th, 1999 made me stand out in the band AND at school.

I'm currently self-learning electric guitar as well as finding a job to help me earm some money as I go back to school in the fall of this year...if I go back.

Well, I try to make people laugh all the time. A lot of the time, people are too caught up with crap so a lightened mood always helps. That doesn't mean I don't know to be serious. I just choose not to be serious all the time.

I like to go out...not to anywhere specific, I just like to get out and do things. There is nothing worse than not getting out and experiencing everything that a given area has to offer; I guess I just like to explore my surroundings. I am more likely to enjoy going to a lounge and listening to live music while having a drink rather than going to a bar and drinking to drink. I do drink socially but usually end up being the guy who makes sure everyone else is in good enough shape to drive. I have had people tell me that I am a really good time and I usually end up being surrounded by laughs and smiles wherever I go. I guess I am pretty easy to get along with...I will find a way to make any situation fun and make you laugh or smile, even at the cost of my own dignity.

Well I personally believe that people are way to complex to fully explain in writing. I am a person that does not like to stand still. I enjoy the outdoors and being surrounded by caring individuals that have an opinion on life. I don't have time for drama in my life! I like art, swimming, persian cats, big dogs, and aquariums. I was learning how to crochet but got frustrated with it. My favorite season is the fall and i wish it was fall all year round. Well in this busy world that we live in I'm finding it hard to meet somebody and date especially since I work with all females. i'm very shy until I get to know you and then you won't be able to shut me up. I love going and watching on tV Twins, Vikings, and Wild games. My favorite things to do are hangout with my family, friends, and my niece. Im Kevin, I'll be 20 on February 1st. I love to snowboard, skateboard, work on cars, hangout with friends, go to movies, and I'm basically up for anything! i keep myself busy working on various crafty projects - some traditional (knitting, crocheting, sewing) and some a little less traditional (upcycling toilet paper tubes into wall hangings, making collages out of magazine clippings), running (well, jogging might be more accurate. i'm not very fast.), watching movies (i think netflix was created just for me), cooking (spent 2 hours making samosas the other day. that's dedication, yo.), and being outside (less so in the winter).
i also love to read. right now i'm tackling the bible, which is a pretty monumental task for a bible-illiterate agnostic. i'm determined to wade through it, though, and i'm not allowing myself to read any other books (except textbooks) until i'm done. only 800 or so pages to go. ;)
i cross my big toes over my 2nd toes when i'm feeling comfortable (or when i need comfort. i find it's more socially acceptable than carrying around a blankie.) this is part of why i prefer not to wear shoes. (winter gets in the way)

Hello I am a hardworking individual that recently would like to be a little less independent. I work a full time, studying for a degree in accounting and have two beautiful children ages nine and six so by schedule seems a little busy. They are great but I am looking for someone to spend a little time with going out socially too.

With that out of the way, my life is not an easy one. I am in a Polyamorous relationship. I have a wife and she has a boyfriend, sooner or later to be live in. I'm sorry but even if you are the hottest gal in the world, if you have trouble putting more than 4 words in a sentence that makes sense, then we will have issues.

I work full time in a salaried position in my chosen field. That is a great thing, as a lot of people unfortunately are not working in the field they went to school for. Equally as unpleasant are those that are in their chosen field only to find out they hate it. I love mine, which also carries consequences. In my case, I tend to be a bit of a workaholic. I have trouble leaving the office at the office, and if something in on my mind from work, it will process in the background no matter what I am doing with few exceptions.

As for what I do outside of work, currently not much. I do some reading, enjoy movies (Netflix is my lover) and basically geek out online. I do like getting outdoors as well. Walking trails and taking my dog out into the park are among the outdoor activities. I don't really know the cities much, and frankly don't care to get to know them. I am all for doing things in the cities, but just plain don't like the feel in a large city.

Hey my name is Dave. First thing you have to know is that i love the outdoors it is a real passion of mine. I enjoy hunting and fishing not just for the sport but to watch the sunrise and hear everything around me. It is really surreal to see everything that is created and im not a huge religious guy but that is where i feel closest to God. I enjoy watching movies, especially comedies and action films. Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler just to name a few. I really enjoy making people laugh, my friends tell me it is a gift but i really just get a kick out of making peoples days. Life is too short to be mad you should enjoy every second you have! Im not a great cook but i love to mess around in the kitchen, one of my roommates is trying to help me but there are somethings people just aren't meant to do!! I played baseball, football, soccer, all since i was about 10 years old it was a big part of my life. I won state for Baseball when i was 16 it was one of the greatest moments of my life. All of this i have to thank for my single mother, she has been a huge inspiration throughout my entire life. It has shown me that if you want to succeed or accomplish something nothing is impossible no matter how hard it seems. Some hobbies i have are playing the guitar, fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, playing golf, im really up for anything!

This little thing called a spinal cord injury happened to me some years ago resulting in my paralysis from the shoulders down. Not to worry, though, as I did the whole lemons into lemonade trick. I ended up going back to college and earning a degree, however securing a career has proven to be more troublesome than initially considered. This has caused me to continue working as a public speaker addressing issues such as decision-making and dealing with adversity. Today finds me in a happy place despite the difficulties of my disability.

I like the idea of moving but seriously i dont like moving! i procrastinate WAY too much! i dont know if its motivation or what but i have not had this little for a long time.....

Ok! so how do you do this? I'm not very good with my self summary but here it goes. I am 28 years old, I live in the suburb of St. Paul and live on my own with my 5 year old daughter. I just moved back home to Minnesota to finish my marketing degree.I'm getting excited to finish but I think it's more just the thought of never buying school supplies again. My passion is to help people who are from war torn countries, refugees, and live amongst them and volunteer my services and surgical skills. I would love to go a whole day w/out talking. I love the spoken word. I like Native American Education, volunteering, Blood and body donation, Nursing, Recycling, AIM, gardening, my dog, photography, travel, owning a chicken! Seriously, they are so easy to care for, dating, Big book, CA, AA CMA meetings, Sober City(f-in sweet), BBqs, fires, fishing, helping out and finding new interests like maybe starting to airbrush!! .

I am a open-minded person. I read a lot of articles about things going on today in the country and in the world. I am very opinionated and my opinions are based on facts that I have read about. I love to debate on issues with people who are willing to debate. I am a free thinker. I don't believe what the mainstream media says or what the crooks in DC say. I consider myself to be very informed with what is going on in this country. There are plenty of issues that I am well versed on that many people don't know even exist. Based on the available evidence I believe 911 was a inside job perpetrated by our gov't.

I try to conserve energy. The lights and water go off when not in use I purchased a corn stove last year to save money and not support the gas company as much. In the summer I bike to work. it's close by. I also garden in the summer.

I enjoy the typical things like nature walks, movies, music (just about anything except country and top 40), intelligent conversations, traveling, mini-golf, bowling, darts, and most other fun things. The only radio station I listen to are all 3 MPR stations, KFAI, and occasionally 93X. The Current is what is usually on.

In the summer I enjoy treasure hunting, exploring new areas, long drives and just being outside. Unless it's a car I like to try and figure out how to fix things before throwing them or calling a repair man. Sometimes I'm successful.

I took the politics test here and it says I am a strong democrat. I couldn't disagree more. Don't judge someone by what some stupid test result says. Politically I am a independent. I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I think both parties are worthless, one is as bad as the other, both are corrupt and only answer to their master : money. I supported Jesse Ventura and Ron Paul. I will usually vote for a third party, but now that the elections are rigged it really doesn't mean much anymore. We are a fascist nation and it's only getting worse.

I think atheism is the best religion. You never hear about a band of atheists going around raping little kids. You never see atheists killings others for not believing in a deity. Atheists typically don't try to influence politics, and in most cases atheists do their own thinking rather than rely on a book to tell them how to think. So yes, I am atheist and unfortunately I probably know more about religion then many religious people know. If you are religious I would still date you, but you'd be opening yourself up to some big time criticism.

I also have 2 cats so you if you hate cats or are allergic you might want to move on.

I am a person who believes that a better world is possible and I have dedicated my life to trying to create that better world. I am an activist who has worked on many different issues but recently my main focuses have been on ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and protecting our first amendment rights. I don't work for any political parties or candidates, but I will work for any organization that is fighting for the causes that are important to me.

Many people think that activism is all work and no fun, but I will tell you that is not the case at all. The activism that I am involved in can be a lot of fun and the greatest moments of my life have come about as a result of activism. Trust me, it is a lot of fun to dress up like a pirate and take a heavily decorated boat out on the lake to crash Tim Pawlenty's fishing opener photo op, and if you have the opportunity to try it next year before he leaves office I highly recommend doing so.

I see the best in people until they give me a reason. I'm trying to get back into rock climbing, and hiking. I camp on and off throughout the summer. I have a fun hobby with my 2 Border Collies, we compete in dog agility, it's a blast, and the dogs love it.

I'm from the south living what seems to be on a planet that I'm not used to called the North! I'm a simple kinda girl who can adapt and fit into any given situation from a black tie affair to a t-shirt and jeans bar-b-que. I can't stand a liar or a player. After all, you know what they say, the players change but the game never does. I say what I mean and mean what I say. Why put on airs? True colors will always but ALWAYS expose themselves regardless of the length of time it may take. I like being around positive people who enjoy laughter and having fun. It doesn't take a lot of money to have fun; you can do simple things like watching a sunset or sunrise, going to the zoo talking to the animals, fish, sitting at home watching a killer movie just holding hands eating junk food; you get the idea. Family is so important to me and theirs no lengths I won't go to for my family. Their still in the south so I miss them a lot but I'm just a phone call away. I like to be around people who can actually carry on a conversation even if it's a silly one. Communication is the key to any type of relationship as well as trust. If you don't have those 2 for a foundation, what do you have? Absolutely nothing. I'm old school; morals and values I won't compromise on. With me-what you see is what you get.
